Latest W3HA operations - 2026
Every June, the ARRL sponsors Field Day, when clubs and individuals set up stations at temporary locations. As we have done the past three years, the Club will set up operations in Penn Forest Recreational Park on 903 on June 27th and 28th 2026, the number of transmitters to be determined. The coordinates of our station are 40.92769° N, 75.69486° W, if you to put it in your GPS. In 2023, we made 168 contacts and achieved a score of 620. In 2024 we made 272 contacts and our score was 918. Even more significant was the increase in participants from 7 in 2023 to 20 for 2024. In 2025 we had a good turnout and another nice weather weekend for Field Day. This year's Field Day theme is "Amateur Radio: A National Resource." Come join us this year for another great Field Day weekend!

CLUB BREAKFAST
At the last meeting, the club members decided to cancel the April breakfast at the Beacon 443 for the first Saturday in April. There was a problem with parking as the Kia garage was sold and now parking is roped off there. The Beacon parking lot was full and some had to park at the Boulevard and walk over. The April breakfast will be April 11 at Country View on 209, just past Country Junction. Breakfast will start at 9Am. Please let Donna know by Thursday and Mike WA3TT will make reservations.  My email is dkattner@ptd.net. Or send a text to 570-952-4058.
