Wednesday Night CARC Weekly Net

- You do not have to be a member to participate in the net - all are welcome
- We have a rotating list of net control ops: Eric N3TVV (Head NC), Dave KC3VWB, Chris W2CPS, and Mike WA3TT.
This week's net controller for Wednesday 9/16 will be Dave KC3VWB.
On the September 2nd net we were discussing favorite coffee mugs. Mary (KB3FUU) shared with us a description of her favorite coffee drinkware. Thanks to Mary (KB3FUU) and Jeff (KD3CAV) for providing the photos!
[Russian tea glasses are called stakan (specifically a granyonyi stakan, or faceted glass), and they are traditionally placed inside a decorative metal handle called a podstakannik.]

September Monthly Meeting
The September meeting will be September 17th at the EOC. There will be a Board Meeting starting at 7 PM. The General Meeting starts at 7:30 PM.

Queen Mary
On March 31st 2026 Dan KQ4SYE arranged a visit with David, N6HHR, Manager of W6RO, which is the Nate Brightman Radio Room aboard the Queen Mary. CARC members were able to make contact with the Queen Mary and then submit for the "very popular Queen Mary QSL card". Details of the QSL card are found here:
Club Meeting Information
Club meetings are the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM.
On January, April, July and September, a Board meeting is held starting at 7:00 PM.
If a meeting is cancelled due to weather or other reasons, notification will be posted here.
All members are welcome to both meetings.
